About the Role:
Fujitsu Sweden is seeking a highly skilled QA Specialist to join our team in Kista on a Try/Hire basis. This is a full-time position with an initial 6-month contract, with the possibility of a permanent offer upon successful completion of the contract. As a QA Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and executing the testing phases of projects, ensuring high-quality deliverables for our valued customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and amend test plans for various phases, including System Testing and UAT.
  • Manage testing projects for a specific customer, ensuring timely and quality deliverables.
  • Perform and assist in testing activities, ensuring smooth progress without blockers.
  • Analyze, report, and log test activities and results, providing input to defect registers.
  • Facilitate defect management, including logging and updating defects, especially using tools like JIRA.
  • Conduct daily progress reporting, detailing test steps executed, passed, failed, and deferred.
  • Ensure proper communication and installation in test environments with both internal and external teams.
  • Lead meetings with customers and stakeholders, ensuring alignment and approval of test reports.
  • Ensure adherence to legal and regulatory requirements throughout the testing process.
  • Contribute to a culture of responsibility, ensuring compliance all the way to production.

Key Deliverables:

  • Test Schedules, Plans, and Reports
  • Participation in DCB and other relevant meetings
  • Accurate registration and management of defects

Key Performance Indicators:

  • Adherence to the test schedule
  • Clear, precise, and unambiguous test results
  • Up-to-date logging of all test activities and issues
  • Active on-site presence and appropriate professional conduct

Qualifications:

  • Extensive experience in QA, with a strong understanding of test management and execution.
  • Proficiency in defect management tools (knowledge of JIRA is a plus).
  • Excellent communication skills, fluent in English (Swedish not required).
  • Ability to work on-site and travel to customer locations as needed.
